An up-coming dance in my school was entitled Masquerade!
I don't really like dances, to tell you the truth.
In fact, I hate attending such event.
classmate J asked me why when I told my friend, A, that I might not be there.
A. was a little disappointed, but I didn't exactly say that I'm sure that I wouldn't.
J asked, "why aren't you going to the dance?"
"umm...cuz'...." I said.
"Because you can't go without a guy! I see!" he said, before I say my reason.
"No! That's not it!"
"She doesn't want to wear dresses" my other friend said.
"yeah" I said, "that's partly it."
"yeah... I understand.... dresses are all skirty..." commented J.
'How could you understand' I thought,'you're a guy!'
However, if you check my gallery, you'll see my 2 mask designes.
My friends and several guy classmates liked them and decided to order mask from me.
The art crew in our school are making masks they could sell on the dance.
For people who didn't want or just didn't prepare one for the dance.
They're selling them for 2 or 3 hundred NT, GOD!!!
I've been checking on them, because one of them is our school's best artist.
So far, only her masks were made on by one, and others...none.
They aren't making much progresses.....
Anyways, I have several people wanting my masks instead of theirs.
I charge them no fee except they have to buy materials for their masks themself.
A. insisted on paying me no matter what, even if she has o buy materials....
I have no choice but accept it, i guess...
I'm really not the type of person working for money, especially claiming them from friends.
My classmate KW wanted the black mask that I designed, but with black, white and gray.
funny...
and my other classmate, a girl, J also wanted ones I make.
whatever.....I'll take the pleasure to make mask for them.
I showed my art teacher my designe, and "gorgeous" wa his comment along with his amazement.
He told me I should've been with the art crew.
But, no, I can't stay after school like they do.
I told him about the ordering thingy.
He said I sould charge them, cuz' artist always get paid.
Well, I told his they charge their material fee and I make, a fair trade.
He thought that was brilliant.
haha..
I'm really looking forward to make those people masks.
